Castine, ME - The SUNY Delhi men's basketball team returned to conference action Saturday afternoon, coming up short to Maine Maritime.

It would be the Mariners starting the game fast on an 8-2 run, jumping out to the early lead. However, it wouldn't take long for the Broncos to respond with several runs of their own to take a 9-point lead heading into the break. 

The second half would be a complete flip of the script that saw Maritime as the beneficiary of some halftime adjustments. The Mariners would remain in striking distance while slowly closing the gap on the lead. Maritime would complete the comeback, regaining the lead in the final minutes, and would pull away to secure the 69-60 victory. 

Delhi's top performers included senior Warren Davis posting a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Senior Brennan Heaven added 13 points, and junior Gustarling Louis totalled 12 points off the bench. 

The Broncos fall to 6-11, 3-3 in conference play, and will take on Husson away tomorrow at 3 p.m.
