Harrison, NY - The SUNY Delhi men's basketball team was back in action Wednesday night in their second away contest of the season, falling to Manhatanville.
Manhattanville would start fast, jumping ahead early (10-3 in the opening minutes) and would never look back, leading the match from start to finish. Delhi would make a run late in the first half, cutting the lead to just 3 points with 4 minutes remaining. The Broncos would remain in striking distance, entering the break trailing by 7 points.
Similarly, to the first half, Manhattanville would be in control of the game while continuing to grow the lead. The Valiants would eventually pull away with the 71-53 victory.
Delhi's top performers included junior Jason Tagios leading the way for the Broncos with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Junior Gustarling Louis added 10 points, while senior Isiah Barnes posted 8 points, 7 assists, and 6 boards.
The Broncos fall to 2-2 and will take on Albertus Magnus away on Friday, Nov. 22.
