Delhi, NY  - The SUNY Delhi men's basketball team returned to conference action Friday night, coming out on top after a hard-fought matchup.

Floyd L Maines Arena was the place to be as the men's basketball team triumphed over the Hornets of NVU Lyndon. Delhi would start the contest slow as the Hornets came out firing. The Broncos would inch closer towards the end of the half, entering the break trailing by 4 points. It would go down as a great day to be a Bronco as the squad continued to claw themselves back into the fight. At the 3-minute mark, Delhi would finally complete the comeback and take a slim lead. It was a family affair as 5 players had above 10 points, led by Gustarling Louis, who had 15 of his own going 5-6 from the field, with the likes of Lester Mccarthy and Isiah Barnes close behind with 14 of their own. On the defensive side of the ball, the Broncos kept the glass clean with Warren Davis snagging 8 boards.

Tonight's victory clinched the Broncos the top spot in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) West Division, securing them home court advantage for next weekend's NAC playoffs. Delhi looks to continue their postseason success, posting a 4-1 record over the last 2 years.

The Broncos improve to 10-13, 7-5 in conference play, and wrap up their regular season tomorrow on Senior Day vs. NVU Johnson.
