Men's Basketball Earn Conference Victory Over Thomas

Waterville, ME - The SUNY Delhi men's basketball team returned to action Tuesday afternoon as part of a back-to-back, defeating Thomas 66-62.

It would be an even contest for the entirety of the first half that saw both sides trading baskets. The Terriers would hold a narrow two-point lead heading into the break behind 14 first-half points from Parker Desjardins.

The second half would bring much of the same as the back-and-forth battle continued. Delhi would start the half off strong on a 12-0 run that would prove to be the difference. While Thomas would remain in striking distance, Delhi would shut the door on a comeback attempt to secure the victory.

Delhi's top performers included senior Isiah Barnes leading the way with 15 points and recording his 1,000th career point. Senior Brennan Heaven totaled 11 points, and senior Warren Davis posted a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

The Broncos improve to 6-9, 3-1 in conference play, and will take on UMPI at home on Sunday.
