Brockport, NY - The SUNY Delhi men's basketball team was back in action Saturday afternoon, falling to Brockport.
Brockport would jump out to an early lead, starting the game on an 8-2 run. Delhi would keep things close and take a brief lead midway through the first period. The Golden Eagles would finish the half off strong, entering the break with a 6-point lead.
Delhi would keep themselves within striking distance for the majority of the second half. However, it would be the Golden Eagles closing the door on any comeback effort, eventually pulling away with the victory. Delhi's top performers included Senior Brennan Heaven leading the way with 15 points. Senior Warren Davis added 13 points along with 8 rebounds, and junior Gustarling Louis contributed 12 points off the bench. The Broncos fall to 5-8, 2-0 in conference play, and will take on Farmington away on Monday, Jan. 6.
