2024-25 Men's Basketball Season Preview

Delhi, N.Y. - The SUNY Delhi Men's Basketball team will begin their 2024-25 campaign when they open their season at home on Friday, November 6, against Vermont State Castleton at 3 p.m.

The team is coming off a 14-13 season, finishing 7-7 in conference play, earning them a spot in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) playoffs as the fourth seed in the NAC West Division. In the NAC playoffs opening round, the team earned an upset victory over first-seeded Morrisville, outscoring the Mustangs for a 71-63 win. The team eventually fell to SUNY Cobleskill in the NAC West Championship to conclude their 2023-24 campaign. Delhi enters the preseason poll ranked at the top of NAC West Division comprised of Cobleskill, Johnson, Lyndon, and Lesley.

The returning unit for Delhi is comprised of 8 players, accompanied by a strong class of newcomers. Notable returners for the season include seniors Isiah Barnes, Warren Davis, and Lester McCarthy, alongside junior Gustarling Louis.

The squad will look to return to the NAC tournament, led by now second-year head coach Jonathan Annan, alongside second-year assistant coaches Michael Hussein and Shemar Duncan.
