Troy, NY - The SUNY Delhi men's basketball team was back in action Sunday afternoon, falling to a competitive RPI side.
RPI would enter play red-hot, holding an undefeated record on the season. The Engineers would ride that momentum into the first half, jumping out to an early lead and never looking back. RPI would comfortably hold a double-digit lead heading into the break.
The Broncos would up their level of play in the second half, scoring more than double the amount of points they had in the first half. Ultimately, the Engineers lead would be too much to come back from, as Delhi would fall short.
Delhi's top performers included senior Isiah Barnes, who led the way with 10 points; junior Noah Colin added an additional 9; and senior Brennan Heaven provided an all-around strong performance totaling 7 points, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. The squad falls to 2-6 and will take on Cobleskill away on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
