Utica, NY - The SUNY Delhi men's basketball team was back in action Saturday afternoon, coming up short to Utica.
Delhi would enter play red-hot, holding a three-game win streak. It would be Utica, however, that started strong, finding themselves ahead by double digits at the break.
Along the team's three-game win streak, in each they had trailed at halftime and made comebacks. Looking to do the same in this one, the Pioneers would shut the door on a possible comeback and continue to grow their lead and secure the victory.
Delhi's top performers included senior Isiah Barnes, leading the way with 13 points. Junior Gustarling Louis totaled ten points off the bench, along with Senior Brennan Heaven adding 8 points and 8 rebounds of his own. The squad falls to 5-7, 2-0 in conference play, and will take on LeMoyne away on Saturday, Dec. 14.
