Delhi, NY - The SUNY Delhi Men's Basketball team closed out their regular season at home Saturday against the Badgers of NVU Johnson.

It was familiar territory for the Broncos, finding themselves trailing in the game's opening minutes. The Badgers would open the contest on an 8-0 run to take an early lead. Similarly to yesterday's comeback victory over Lyndon, Delhi would continue to inch closer, trailing by just 4 points at half. Floyd L. Maines started to erupt minutes into the second half when Brennan Heaven sunk a clutch 3 pointer to bring the game within 1. It would be a back-and-forth chippy last couple of minutes that would see Johnson pulling away with the narrow victory.

Delhi's top performers included senior Warren Davis, totaling 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists, alongside junior Gustarling Louis posting 16 points off the bench. The Broncos Senior Day ceremony honored Lester McCarthy, Isiah Barnes, Warren Davis, and Brennen Heaven. The entire group were 4-year members of the program, having been a part of Delhi's transition into the NCAA, including a trip to the NCAA National Tournament. 

The Broncos road to their 2nd North Atlantic Conference (NAC) title begins at home on Friday, February 21st.
