Cobleskill, NY - The SUNY Delhi men's basketball team was back in action Tuesday night, capturing their first conference win of the season over Cobleskill.
In the first conference contest of the season for both sides, it was a back-and-forth, low-scoring battle in the first half that saw the Tigers with a slim two-point lead heading into the break.
It would be a tale of two halves that saw the Broncos make key second-half adjustments that would lead to Delhi nearly doubling Cobleskill's amount of points in the second half. The Broncos would remain strong on defense, only allowing 26 second-half points while posting 49 on offense. Delhi's strong half would ultimately propel them to a commanding 75-54 victory.
Delhi's top performers included senior Isiah Barnes, who recorded his first triple double of the season with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. Junior Noah Colin led the way with 14 points, along with senior Warren Davis adding an additional 12 points and 7 boards. The squad improves to 3-6, 1-0 in conference play, and will take on Hartwick at home on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
