SUNY Delhi COVID-19 Plan and Practice for the Swimming Pool and Parking on campus

Guidelines for best practices for preventing the spread of COVID-19 are changing as we learn more about the disease. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we adapt.

1. Pool Access

1. The Swimming Pool is open to everyone, you must register your car at University Police, every time you come to campus at University Police in North Hall.

2. Parking passes for the semester for pool patrons are free!

3. Patrons will enter through Equipment (Laundry) Room entrance located next to the Pool Office.

4. Locker room access will be from the pool deck only. Showers are available from pool deck.

5. Public Bathroom facilities are located in the 2nd floor lobby.

6. Patrons will exit pool through Northwest door into Parking lot K or side door next to office.

3. Guard at Check in

1. One lifeguard will be responsible for pool admission procedures, lifeguard will not be observing the patrons in the water, nor be counted in the bather to lifeguard ratio.

4. Sign in

6. Routine Cleaning

1. The pool may be cleared at regular intervals to clean and disinfect as needed.

2. During the last 15 minutes of each hour, all patrons must exit the Aquatics Center to allow for disinfection.

3. Staff will be performing routine cleaning throughout the day on high touch surfaces.

7. Patrons may bring their own swim equipment

1. School owned recreational pool equipment can be used but must be put back in place.

8. Water fountains

1. The water fountains in Kunsela Hall will be closed.

9. Saunas

1. The Saunas are closed and locked until further notice.

10. Mezzanine

1. The Mezzanine is closed until further notice.

11. Racquetball Courts

1. The Racquetball Courts are now open, bring your own equipment.

2. You must sign in on the clip boards next to the courts, before you play.

3. No street shoes allowed in Racquetball Courts.

12. Please bring exact change to the pool

1. The lifeguard staff does not have change.

13. No overnight locks are allowed in the locker rooms
