WATERVILLE, Me. (October 18, 2021) - Libero Rebecca Heuler (Piermont, NY / Tappan Zee) received her second North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Defender of the Week honor for her contributions that led to two NAC sweep victories at Cazenovia Thursday and SUNY Canton Sunday. She was previously recognized for the week ending September 19.

Heuler stacked up 19 digs against the Caz Wildcats to lead the three-set match, gathering three service aces and two assists. She followed this up with another match high in digs with 15 versus the Canton Roos, garnering another three aces, one assist, and one kill for four points. Heuler leads the NAC in digs with 300 total and 5.36 per set, while ranking sixth with 34 service aces.

The two league victories puts Heuler and the Broncos (16-5 overall, 6-0 NAC) one step closer towards clinching the top spot in the NAC West standings. All will be determined at Sunday's NAC tri-match where the Broncos will host SUNY Cobleskill and SUNY Poly starting at 11:00 a.m. Delhi has one non-conference matchup before then at Bard on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
