Bailee Jones Honored NAC Defender of the Week in Career Debut

WATERVILLE, Me. (September 6, 2021) - SUNY Delhi's Bailee Jones (Binghamton, NY / Binghamton) was named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Defender of the Week following her three-match career debut that produced 48 digs and three total blocks.

Jones chalked up 15 digs and one block assist in the Broncos' season-opening five-set match at Sage Wednesday, garnering a team-high ten kills and three service aces. She then amassed 16 digs with one block assist in Delhi's home opener with Marywood Thursday, totaling ten kills to lead the team again. On Saturday at Sarah Lawrence, Jones garnered a season-best 17 digs and one block assist, along with nine kills, to help the Broncos post a five-set win over the Gryphons in a close match decided by a 16-14 final set.

Jones and the Broncos carry on this Wednesday with a road match at Utica at 7:00 p.m.
