Volleyball Wins Fourth Straight with Sweep of Mount Saint Mary

DELHI, N.Y. (September 14, 2021) – The SUNY Delhi women's volleyball squad extended their win streak to four matches with a swift three-set victory over Mount Saint Mary Tuesday evening. The host Broncos took control of the contest with 25-12, 25-20, and 25-18 victories to improve to 4-2. Delhi has won ten of its last 11 sets.

On a night where substitutions were all but non-existent, the starters remained strong and consistent, led by Bailee Jones' ten kills with ten digs and one service ace for 11 points, while administering a .233 kill percentage. Grace Thomas lived up to her NAC Player of the Week honors with 23 assists, along with three kills and two service aces with one block assist. Lexi Taylor drove in eight kills with a .300 kill percentage, while administering five digs, one block solo and one block assist. Libero Rebecca Hauler delivered a team-leading four service aces and 14 digs, along with a pair of assists. Reigning Bronco of the Week Marie Julian tallied six kills on a .208 kill percentage with seven digs. The Broncos posted a .124 total kill percentage on 33 kills, including a .333 percentage in the first set, compared to MSM's .022 with 23 kills.

Head coach Beau Bracchy's team plays their third match in four days this Thursday at MCLA, with first serve set for 6:00 p.m.
