DELHI, N.Y (September 20, 2021) SUNY Delhi women's volleyball freshman Rebecca Heuler (Piermont, NY/ Tappan Zee) was named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Defender of the Week.
Heuler made the most of her new assignment as the team's libero, beginning with their trip last Monday at St. Elizabeth. She finished with a match-leading 29 digs in the team's three-set win. In Tuesday's sweep against Mount Saint Mary, the Piermont native delivered a team-leading four service aces and 14 digs, along with a pair of assists. Heuler finished her week at MCLA Thursday picking up a team-best 19 digs and striking two services aces.
Heuler and the Broncos have two home matches this week, playing Keystone home tomorrow, Tuesday, Sep. 21 at 7:00 p.m. and Clarks Summit Thursday, Sept. 23 at 7:00 p.m
