DELHI, N.Y. (September 23, 2021) - The SUNY Delhi women's volleyball team captured their sixth win in seven matches Thursday, downing Clarks Summit in four sets at home. The Broncos bounced to early 25-13 and 25-10 set victories, then avenged a seesaw 27-25 defeat in set three with a 25-16 game-clinching win in game four. Delhi is now 6-3 on the year.

Lexi Taylor, Sage Renneisen, Stephanie Burke, and Chloe Elsenbeck played all four sets Thursday, with Burke leading the way with 11 kills, seven service aces, and .360 kill percentage. Elsenbeck added four aces for second on the evening. Taylor, Renneisen, and Witchney Clersainville each carried seven kills, with Taylor netting a .308 kill percentage against just three errors. Grace Thomas led with 28 assists and eight digs through three sets of action, while libero Rebecca Heuler charted 17 digs playing sets one, two, and four. Similar to their match with Keystone on Tuesday, Delhi's starters took second billing to the rest of their squad in set three, a thriller that featured three lead changes and set point changing sides three times.

The Broncos carry on their busy stretch heading to Saturday's Worcester State Tournament, playing Fitchburg State at 3:00 p.m. then the host Lancers at 5:00 p.m. They're back home this Monday welcoming Elmira at 6:00 p.m.
