Cobleskill, NY - The SUNY Delhi women's volleyball team remains undefeated in conference play, defeating Cobleskill 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-14).
It was all Delhi to start jumping out to an early 13-3 lead in set one and never looked back. The Tigers would mount a late comeback attempt, making things close at 23-18 before Delhi would eventually take the set. Cobleskill would flip the script to start the second set going ahead early 1-7. It would be Delhi's turn now to make a comeback attempt of their own, and they did exactly that. The Broncos would go on to score 24 of the next 33 points to take the set 25-16. Looking to complete the sweep, Delhi would play their best set, taking the commanding 25-14 victory.
Strong performances came from fifth-year Sage Renneisen recording a team-high 15 kills, fifth-year Katelyn Babcock added 8 kills of her own, and senior Jaiden Venute totaled a team-high 22 assists, earning her 1,382 career assists and becoming the program's all-time assist leader.
