Men's Soccer Coasts To 14-0 Victory Over Lyndon

Delhi, NY - The SUNY Delhi men's soccer team remains undefeated in conference play, defeating Lyndon 14-0.

The Broncos started fast once again, going ahead early as junior Matt Serrao found the back of the net in the opening minute to open up the flood gates. Sophomore Garrett Gill would be next for the Broncos as he continues to excel in his new role for the squad. The ten minutes that followed brought an additional five goals. John Walsh twice, Michael Williams Jr., Jared Daragjati, and Roberto Velasquez-Osorio would all add to the team's dominance on the day. As the lead grew, the newest Broncos got their chance to shine, with the next four goals marking the first of several collegiate careers as first-years Niko Anastos, Equan Patterson, and two from Robert Mercilliott put Delhi ahead 11-0 at halftime.

Delhi maintained control of the match for the entirety of the second half, adding three more goals. Matthew Pozo recorded four goals in the last meeting between the two sides and added one of his own, and first-year Joseph Hayward would wrap up the scoring for the Broncos, earning his first collegiate goal by way of a penalty kick.
