Men's Soccer Dominates, Defeating Lyndon 10-0

Lyndon, VT - The SUNY Delhi men's soccer team secured their first conference win of the season, defeating Vermont St. Lyndon 10-0, while earning their fourth shutout of the year.

The Broncos wasted no time getting on the scoreboard as senior Erik Kleczkowski opened up the scoring 10 minutes in off a pass from junior Matt Serrao. Sophomore Matthew Pozo would be next, tallying his first of four goals on the day. First-year David Clapper would also find the back of the net before the closing minutes of the first half to put the Broncos ahead 4-0.

The second half was much of the same, with Delhi putting past an additional six goals. Senior Michael Williams Jr. and first-year Taras Kosciolek recorded their first goals of the season, while first-year Cristian Navarro earned his second goal of the year.

The Broncos move to 2-3-4, 1-0 in conference play and will next play Vermont St. Johnson tomorrow on a short turnaround at 1 pm.
