Miranda Cole wins North Atlantic Conference Track Athlete & Rookie of the Year

Freshman sprinter Miranda Cole received both the Track Athlete of the Year and Rookie of the Year accolades after winning three events at the NAC championships and an incredible season.

This year, Miranda Cole broke out on the track and field team, collecting two NAC Rookie of the Week accolades and a few new Bronco records. At the Courtland Classic Invite, Cole ran a windy 24.97 in the 200m for an all-conditions SUNY Delhi record. She also played a pivotal role on the 4x200 and 4x100 relay teams that broke multiple records throughout the season.

Cole had an excellent end to her year at the NAC championships, breaking meet records in the 100m (12.27) and 4x100m (48.90) and winning the 200m. She would be a big help to the women's team placing second overall.

Her 2023 season is unfinished as she is preparing for the AARTFC where she qualified in the 100m, 200m and 4x100 relay.
