Delhi, NY - After a successful weekend at the Utica Outdoor Spring Invite for the Delhi track and field program, two student-athletes have been recognized with North Atlantic Conference weekly honors.
Track Rookie of the Week
Miranda Cole | First Year | Norwich, New York
Delhi’s Miranda Cole had one of her best days of the season thus far, running a new season best of 26.11 to win the 200-meter dash at the Utica Outdoor Spring Invite. She also finished third overall in the 100 meters with a season-best time of 12.83 seconds. Both times place her atop the NAC performance rankings in both events, while her time in the 200m ranks 11th in the NCAA’s Niagara Region.
Track Athlete of the Week
Morgan Condon | Sophomore | Walton, New York
The Delhi men's track & field team was led by Morgan Condon at the Utica Outdoor Spring Invite. Condon won two individual events on the day including the 110-meter-high hurdles by over half a second with a time of 15.86 and the 400-meter hurdles by over two seconds with a 57.20 respectively. Both times place him atop the NAC performance rankings in both events, and his time in the 400m hurdles ranks 10th in the NCAA’s Niagara Region.
