Delhi Softball fall 6-2 at SUNY Poly

Utica, NY - Delhi Softball traveled up for the third game of a road trip against North Atlantic Conference opponents SUNY Poly. After two tough losses in the doubleheader yesterday, the green and gold would drop their final game at Poly 6-2 in seven innings.

The Broncos (3-30,0-8) with just six remaining games sit in the fourth spot in the NAC West standings.

How it Happened:

Delhi found themselves down 5-1 in the top of the fourth inning before scoring their first run. Kayla Beers drove in a run with a drive to center field, knocking in Gabriella Narcisse. Rhianna Iglesias would then knock in another run in the fifth inning, scoring Sidney Cooper who reached on an error.

This would be all for the Broncos as they fell 6-2 in the end. Danielle Seymour pitched all five innings on the mound, giving up five earned runs.

What's Next:

The Broncos move onto another North Atlantic Conference doubleheader this time at SUNY Cobleskill on Tuesday, April 25th at 3:00 and 5:00 PM.
