Naples, FL - The Delhi softball team started their 2023 season with two games at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic, falling to Mitchell College 9-0 and Wilmington 20-2. The Broncos will now play eight games in the next five days.

In the first game, Delhi would be defeated by Mitchell College with senior Kayla Beers starting her season off with two hits in two plate appearances. While in the second, the Broncos knocked in two runs with Roselyn Monks, Rhianna Iglesias and Beers recording a hit.

The team will be back in action Monday for another doubleheader. They take on St. Elizabeth at 3:00 PM and Lesley at 5:00 PM in Naples, Florida.
