Kelsey Innes Wins Second NAC Award in Two Weeks

Senior Kelsey Innes has been on a tear in the latter part of the women's soccer season, winning her second consecutive NAC POTW award. She made history for Delhi, including becoming the all-time points leader for the Broncos, as well as tying the all-time goal leader at 46 goals. She led the Broncos to two wins the past week to finish of their season and send them into the NAC West Tournament as the top seed.

Senior Kelsey Innes recorded a NAC-leading four goals on the week, including game-winning goals against a pair of SUNY Delhi’s NAC West Division rivals. These victories allowed SUNY Delhi to clinch the top seed in the NAC West Division tournament. Innes finished with two goals and an assist in the Broncos’ 4-0 win over SUNY Cobleskill and wrapped up the 2022 regular season with both SUNY Delhi goals in a 2-0 win over SUNY Canton. With her four-goal, one-assist week, Innes became SUNY Delhi’s all-time leader in career points (117) and tied the program’s career goals record (46).

Innes will look to break the goal record in the playoffs as Delhi hosts both quarterfinals and semifinals of the NAC West side of the tournament this Saturday and Sunday.
