The Broncos Win both matches in Tri-Meet against NAC opponents Poly and Cobleskill

Utica, NY - Delhi (12-9, 7-0) traveled to Utica to take on both NAC West Divisional opponents SUNY Poly and SUNY Cobleskill and left with two wins. The Broncos only dropped one set as they swept Cobleskill in three sets and then defeated Poly three sets to one. They continue to dominate the NAC West as they remain undrafted with seven wins.

The Broncos took on the fighting Tigers at one o'clock, collecting their first win on the day. They won in three straight sets, 25-21, 27-25 and 25-16. Sage Renneisen would post a team-high 13 kills on a .478 attacking percentage, while senior Chloe Elsenbeck added seven of her own. Jaiden Venute had a solid game putting up 24 assists as well as some solid serves. In the third set, Venute would serve five straight service aces to help put the Broncos over the top.

In the next game, the Green and Gold would take on SUNY Poly for the first time in the season. They ended up defeating them in three sets to one after giving the first set to the Wildcats 25-15. The Broncos showed some resilience and went on to take three straight sets 25-22, 25-18 and 25-11.

Three Broncos would record at least double-digit kills as the Bronco's offense was clicking on all cylinders. Katelyn Babcock, Stephanie Burke and Sage Renneisen all posted 10 or more kills, led by Renneisen's 17. After setting her career high earlier in the week with 15 kills she did it again today. Burke added 14 of her own to go along with a team-high 17 digs. While Venute had another stellar game setting up her teammates and putting up 41 total assists, one less than her career-high which was set this year.

They will now look towards their fifth game in six days, taking on SUNY Poly again but this time at home on Sunday, October 23rd at 1 p.m.
