DELHI, NY (February 18, 2021) - The Broncos faced off against the Badgers from NVU-Johnson in a NAC West Semi-final game, pulling off a 94-76 victory. The Broncos used a steady dose of tough defense and timely three point shooting to take a 48-30 lead into the halftime break.

Delhi wasn't too put off by a 15-7 run by the Badgers to start the half and held the lead, 67-58, at the under-12 media timeout. The Broncos were able to use two, small, 9-2 and 9-3 runs to create some breathing room. They continued with the pressure on defense and limited any easy chances for NVU-Johnson throughout the last 10 minutes of the second half.

Mavenson Therneus went for a game-high 25 points and team-high 8 rebounds. Pablo Quinones (15), Erhunosere Uwuigbe (10), Jacob Beach (10) joined the double-figures party. 

Norman Wilson and Isiah Barnes played the role of distributor by accounting for 8 assists each.

Both teams ended the night shooting perfectly from the foul line.

The Delhi men will be playing host to SUNY Poly tomorrow afternoon in the NAC West Final. Tip-off will be at 2 pm. The winner will advance to play the NAC East champion.
