Thomsen Picks Up His 100th Career Win

LYNDONVILLE, VT (February 7, 2022) - Delhi was on the road again, this time heading north to Lyndonville, VT to play a NAC cross-divisional game.  The Broncos offense exploded for 111 points in a road win over NVU-Lyndon by a final score of 111-73.  The 17th win of the season gave head coach Zach Thomsen 100th career win.

Delhi was highly efficient shooting 52.3% from the floor and their intense defense created 19 turnovers as they put up their highest point total of the season.  They poured in 57 points during the first half and added 54 in the second.

Offensively, Mavenson Therneus led the way with a game high 23 points, but he was one of five Broncos in double figures.  Erhunosere Uwuigbe (17), Pablo Quinones (15), Isiah Barnes (12) and Jacob Beach (11) all joined Therneus in the scoring burst.  Therneus also added a game high 14 rebounds while Barnes contributed game highs in assists (9) and steals (3) and Quinones led the game in blocks (3).

The men will make one more northern swing to play games on Friday and Saturday against SUNY Canton and NVU-Johnson to wrap up the regular season and finalized seedings for the NAC playoffs.
