MORRISVILLE, NY (January 25, 2022) – The SUNY Delhi men's basketball team hit the road again today for a game hosted by SUNY Morrisville.  After a tough two game stretch, the team found their shooting stroke and rode the hot shooting performance to a solid road win.

In the first half, the game had six ties and six lead changes in what looked to be a back and forth battle.  However, with 1:20 left in the first half, the Broncos went on a little run with Isaih Barnes and Norman Wilson each hitting two shots and coming up with a steal each.  The flurry pushed the half-time lead to eight points at 39-31 and that was the closest the score would get the rest of the way.

In all, the team shot 47% from the floor and 91% from the free throw line.  Senior Norman Wilson led five Broncos scoring in double figures with his game high 20 points. Also scoring double figures were Isiah Barnes (14), Mavenson Therneus (12), Erhunosere Uwuigbe (12) and Pablo Quinones (11).  In addition to scoring, Therneus added 12 rebounds and four steals while Barnes added six assists.

The team has a quick turnaround as they will head to Cazenovia tomorrow to get back to conference play where they will look to pick up their 13th with of the season and push their NAC record to 5-1.
