Coach Annan begins his first as head coach of the men's basketball program after being a part of the SUNY Delhi family for over a decade.
During his time as a collegiate athlete, Annan achieved an impressive milestone by scoring over 1,000 points across his four-year journey with three different schools. His collegiate career began at SUNY Delhi in 2010, where he played in 69 games over two seasons, contributing significantly to the team's capture of two Region 3 NJCAA Championship titles. After completing his degree, he continued his playing career at Post University for a year before concluding his senior season at Farmingdale. Notably, during his final season, he started in all 27 games, leading the team in both steals and assists. Beyond his college experience, Jonathan also played professional basketball in the ABA, representing the Oneonta Octane and Binghamton Bulldogs.
Coach Annan's association with Delhi goes beyond the court, as he has also been an EOP Counselor for the past six years. In this capacity, he has worked closely with college students facing academic and financial challenges, providing invaluable support on their academic journey.
In terms of education, Coach Annan holds a graduate degree in Coaching from Stony Brook University, a bachelor of science in Sports Management from SUNY Farmingdale, and an associate degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences from SUNY Delhi
He currently lives in Oneonta, NY with his wife and three kids.
