Women's Volleyball has Four Players Collect NAC Post-Season Honors

Delhi, NY - Four Broncos were awarded with NAC post-season awards after they secured their first-ever NAC Championship appearance. Libero Rebecca Heuler won Defensive Player of the Year for the second year in a row. She also secured First Team All-NAC and Sportsmanship Team honors as well. Through the season Heuler posted 338 digs (3.84/set),29 aces (0.33/set) and 39 assists as the Delhi Libero. She got better and better throughout the season and made some incredible plays through the NAC West Tournament. She ranks second in the NAC for average digs per set.

Stephanie Burke was awarded First Team All-NAC after a special season. Burke was a solid player anywhere on the court, always ready to step up when the Broncos needed it. Burke recorded 220 kills (2.56/set, 231 digs (2.69/set) and 37 blocks (.43/set) as an Opposite Hitter for the Broncos this season. She ranked tenth in total kills in the NAC.

While Sage Renneisen and Jaiden Venute received Second Team All-NAC recognition for their efforts throughout the season. Renneisen was a big part of the Delhi attack this year posting a team-high 232 kills (2.73/set), which was good enough for ninth in the NAC for kills per set. She also added on 57 digs and 18 blocks as an Outside Hitter for the Broncos. While Jaiden Venute set her teammates up all year with 690 assists (7.84/set) and 46 service aces. Venute ranked second in total assists in the NAC.

The Broncos will be back in action in the NAC Championship at Delhi on Saturday the 12th at Noon!
