Volleyball Collects First Win of the Year, Sweeping Clarks Summit in Three Sets

It was all Delhi (1-4) through the match, winning each set by at least 10 points on the way to collecting the first win of the season. They took the first set 25-11 and never looked back, winning the second set 25-15 and finishing strong with a 25-9 in the third. 

"We had good energy and just went out and had fun," said head coach Beau Bracchy, "We worked on two specific attacks at practice yesterday and had success with them versus Clarks Summit tonight.

They were in complete control through the match with 31 total kills and nine aces. Sage Renneisen led the way for the Green and Gold with eight kills and a block. While Stephanie Burke added seven kills and nine digs. Junior Katelyn Babcock had one of her best matches of the season with six kills and four aces. Jaiden Venute once again led the team in assists with 27 out of the team's 29 on the night. 

Delhi collects their first win of the season after a slow start to the season, they will now look to keep the momentum going against Marywood University on September 13th on the road again.
