Women's Volleyball Beats SUNY Cobleksill 3-1 en Route to NAC West Final

Delhi, NY - The Delhi Women's Volleyball team took down the Fighting Tigers in four sets on Saturday in the NAC Quarterfinal match. With the win, the Broncos advance to the NAC West Finals for the second year in a row.

Delhi took the first set 25-20 as they got off to an 8-0 start and never gave it up. SUNY Cobleskill went on to take the second set 25-21 as they pulled away in the end, but the hosts would adjust and take the final two sets 25-17 and 25-16 to secure the win.

The Broncos had a great day all over the court with six players recording double-digit digs. Senior Chloe Elsenbeck had the team-high 14 total digs to go along a team-high six service aces. Those would be her season-high in both categories as Elsenbeck really stepped-up Saturday. On the attack, Sage Renneisen led the way with a game-high of 13 kills. She was extremely active for the Green and Gold, having 45 total attacks on the match. Stephanie Burke also played an important role with nine kills and 11 digs, while setter Jaiden Venute played a solid match posting the game-high 32 assists.

The Broncos will turn to the NAC West Finals where they take on Cazenovia at home at noon on Sunday, October 30th. A win in Sunday's match would send Delhi the NAC Title Match against the winner of the NAC East.
