The Broncos Drop Home Match Against SUNY Oneonta in Three Sets

Delhi, NY - The Broncos (7-7, 3-0) took on SUNY Oneonta in a non-conference match Wednesday night but were defeated three sets to zero. The Broncos, who remain undefeated in conference play, still hold the top spot in the NAC West Division with five conference matches left in the season.

The Broncos dropped the three sets, 25-20, 25-13 and 25-16. They fought hard but the Red Dragon's attack proved too much. In the first set, Delhi went back and forth with Oneonta until the Red Dragons pulled away after the set was tied at 14-14. They would carry on that momentum into the next two sets, finishing Delhi in three sets.

The Broncos had seven different players get in on the attack, led by Senior Chloe Elsenbeck's five kills. Jaiden Venute had all of Delhi's assists with 20 through the three sets, while Genea Kadlubowski added three blocks.

Delhi will look to get back on track against Keystone on Thursday, October 13th at 6:30 in La Plume, Pennsylvania.
