Delhi Volleyball Falls at Marywood in Three Sets

Delhi - The Broncos (1-5) traveled to Scranton to play Marywood University Tuesday afternoon but were taken down in three sets.

Delhi was in every set till the end, scoring over 20 points in all three. But they couldn't quite edge out the Pacers losing the first two sets 25-23 and the last one 25-21. The Broncos played well at the net with 10 total blocks, with Freshman Genea Kadlubowski getting in on a game-high five blocks. Junior Sage Renneisen led the way for the Broncos on the attack with 10 kills.

Delhi will look to regroup on Friday, September 16th at 7 PM against Bard College.

Comments from head coach Bracchy: "I thought we competed really hard all night and never let up in regard to team intensity.  We had way too many swing errors between service and attack over the course of the night, including 14 unforced errors in the first set.  When you're playing 25-23 volleyball, each mistake can really compound things and make it tough to overcome."
