Delhi Defeats Conference Opponents in Three Sets to Improve their Win Streak to Five

Cazenovia, NY - The Broncos (6-5, 2-0) took down NAC West Division opponents Cazenovia in three sets Friday night. The Broncos now have been winners in five straight matches, only dropping one set through all games. They have picked up the momentum at the right time, now 2-0 in conference play which lands them 1st in the NAC West Division.

Delhi jumped out to an early lead against the Wildcats after taking the first set 25-15. Five different Broncos recorded a kill, including Sage Renneisen's three first-set kills. They won the next two sets in the same fashion, outscoring Cazenovia 25-19 and 25-13.

Delhi's defense has been superb, holding their last five opponents to less than 20 points in each set dating back to September 16th. They had 42 digs in the contest with Rebecca Heuler and Stephanie Burke combining for 17. Chloe Elsenbeck had a good night serving with the match-high five aces. Katelyn Babcock also added 10 kills, her season high. While Renneisen ended her night with eight kills on a .318 hitting percentage. 

The Broncos will now turn their attention to NAC Conference opponents SUNY Canton on Sunday, October 2nd in Canton, NY.
