Manhattan, NY - The SUNY Delhi track & field team was back in action for the NYU Division III Meet, recording several impressive individual and team performances.
On the women's side, Delhi's big three of Shaesha Johnson, Miranda Cole, and Zoe Rodi would post several strong performances on the day. Johnson would first leave her mark in the 60m finishing second overall with a time of 7.74, while collecting fourth place in the 200m with a time of 25.94. In the same events, Cole would post a personal best in the 60m with a time of 7.98, finishing in fourth, and in the 200m, placed third with a time of 25.82. Rodi would round up the group taking fifth in the 200m with a time of 25.97, while taking third in the 400m running a 59.14. On the distance side of competition, Charlotte Warner finished third in the 3000m (10.40.30), and Amanda Intrieri took seventh in the 800m (2.23).
On the men's side, strong individual performances came from Christian Cuevas taking second overall in the 200m (22.72) and Marvin Markland placing fourth in the 60m (7.11). On the team side, the 4x400 relay of Marvin Markland, Richard Fuller, Jamar Matthew, and Neklor Smith dominated the field, taking first place with a time of 3:22.30.
Delhi will return to the track on Saturday, February 22nd for the Fast Trax Invite in Utica.
