Two Program Records Fall as Track & Field Makes History

Utica, NY - The SUNY Delhi track & field team was back in action at Utica for the Blue & Orange Invitational, recording several impressive individual performances.

On the women's side, Shaesha Johnson does it again in the 60m, taking first overall and breaking the school record that she previously set with a time of 7.65. Her time not only earns AARTFC recognition but also sets a new facility record. Zoe Rodi would also record another first-place performance and AARTFC recognition in the 200m with a time of 26.27. Miranda Cole in the same 200m would collect fourth place, posting a time of 26.66. On the men's side, strong individual performances came from Tawakal Omar, who finished first overall in the men's 60m hurdle, breaking the school record that he had set the week prior with a time of 8.21.

Delhi will return to the track on Saturday, February 8th for the Blue & Orange Invite in Utica.
