Ithaca, NY - The SUNY Delhi track & field team wrapped up their season at the AARTFC Indoor Championships, recording several impressive individual and team performances.
The Broncos women's distance medley team would kick off competition as Amanda Intrieri, Gabrielle Brown, Amelia Bowman-McCoy, and Charlotte Warner would set a new program record with a time of 12:38.96. Delhi's 4x200 squad of Deron Davis, Marvin Markland, Tawakal Omar, and Cristian Cuevas continued their dominance setting a new school record (1:29.54) placing 3rd overall. Zoe Rodi would continue her success in the 400m, breaking the program record she had set the previous week with a time of 58.28. In similar fashion, Amanda Intrieri would take second in the 800m, breaking the program record she had set earlier in the season, recording a time of 2:17.69. Tawakal Omar would add to the trend breaking the school record in the 60m hurdles posting a 8.17. Charlotte Warner contributed a strong performance in the 3000m setting a new program record with a time of 10:30.38. Miranda Cole in the 200m and Shaesha Johnson in the 60m, went on to record stellar performances, scoring in their events.
The squad will now shift their attention to the outdoor season that kicks off on March 29th at the Ramapo Spring Invite.
