DELHI, N.Y. (December 27, 2019) – Prior to helping the SUNY Delhi men's basketball team to a 7-3 start to the season, senior point guard Jordan Fragale (Baldwinsville, NY / C.W. Baker) was named an Honorable Mention to the DIII News 2019-20 Preseason All-America Team.

Fragale posted a stellar junior campaign to lead Delhi to the 2018-19 ACAA Championship, making the game-winning baskets in the closing seconds in both nail-biting conference tournament games. He capped off a 12-point Broncos rally in the final six-and-a-half minutes with a go-ahead jumper with 8.3 seconds remaining to beat Pine Manor, 76-75, in the ACAA Semifinals. The next day against Alfred State for the championship, Fragale again led a comeback charge after the Broncos trailed by 13 with just over ten minutes left. He made the game-winner with 2.7 ticks to play for a 77-75 league-clinching win. The Baldwinsville, NY native was named the ACAA Tournament MVP, followed by selections to the All-ACAA First Team and USCAA All-American Honorable Mention. He finished the season averaging a team-high 13.4 ppg. and 8.1 assists per game.

The C.W. Baker graduate currently averages 10.1 ppg. and 5.0 assists per game this season. Some of his season highlights included scoring a career-high 34 points in the Broncos' 112-105 overtime win at Penn College Tech on Nov. 17 and making the go-ahead free throw in Delhi's 96-95 victory over Centenary on Nov. 23. He is within striking distance of the 1,000 career points milestone with 871 points.

Fragale and the Broncos return from winter break heading to the Utica College Classic from Sunday, Dec. 29 to Monday, Dec. 30. Delhi plays Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the Sunday game at 6:00 p.m., followed by the host Utica Pioneers for the Monday matchup at 3:00 p.m.
