Lyndon, VT – Delhi Women's Soccer traveled to play VTSU Lyndon in a cross-division conference match, defeating the Hornets 2-0 to remain at the top of the North Atlantic West Division.

The Broncos started early, scoring in the 3rd minute of play when senior Alanna Ruchar (Delhi, NY) scored her first goal of the season. She would finish a great pass off a run from senior Kayla Beers (East Meredith, NY ) for her first assist of the season as well.

They would keep up the offensive pressure and not soon after force a Lyndon own goal to go up by two in the sixth minute.

That would be the last time either team would score for the rest of the match, as Delhi outshot the Hornets 28-2.

Freshman Abigail Allen (Orange Park, FL ) and Junior Julia Ruppert (Franklin Square, NY) split the time in goal, switching at halftime to record the Bronco's fifth clean sheet of the season.
