Delhi, NY - The SUNY Delhi women's basketball team was back at home Friday, falling to Lyndon.
The Broncos came into Friday's matchup looking to grab their first conference win during the dying embers of the season but would ultimately came up short. It was a familiar start for Delhi, struggling shooting from the field for the majority of the first half. The Hornets would quickly grow the lead to double digits and would never look back.
The Broncos offense was more productive in the second half, spearheaded by Riley Schmidt's 6 and Shakera Fullenwilder's 5 second half points. In addition, Alexandra Reuss showed up big on the other side of the ball, collecting 6 boards on the day.
Delhi's top performers included Fullenwilder, leading the offense with 8 points, accompanied by Reuss's 4 points and 6 boards. The Broncos fall to 0-22, 0-12 in conference play, and finish out their season with senior day tomorrow against the Badgers of NVU Johnson.
