Delhi, NY - The SUNY Delhi women's basketball team was back in action Friday night, falling to Lesley.
In a conference meeting between the two sides, it would be Lesley's first taste of conference play this season. Delhi would post one of their best quarters of the season in a back-and-forth battle that saw Lesley leading by just two points after one. It would be in the middle quarters that the Lynx would grow their lead to double digits. The Broncos would bounce back with a competitive fourth quarter, but it would ultimately not be enough to come back from as Lesley would take the victory.
Delhi's top performers included first-year Alexandra Reuss leading the way with 11 points. First-year Alani Brock and junior Shakera Fullenwider would both add 10 points of their own.
The Broncos fall to 0-9, 0-2 in conference play, and will take on Lehman at home on Saturday, Dec. 7.
