Delhi, NY - The SUNY Delhi women's basketball team was back in action Sunday afternoon, falling to Hartwick.
It would be a tale of two halves for Delhi, starting the game off slow as Hartwick would jump out to an early double-digit lead, holding a comfortable lead entering the break. The Broncos would effectively make some secondhand adjustments, looking much more competitive. Despite Delhi only being outscored by 6 total points in the second half, it wouldn't be enough to make a comeback attempt as the Hawks would go on to secure the victory.
Delhi's top performers included first-year Alain Brock leading the way with 12 points. First-year Eleanor Wagner added 9 points of her own, and first-year Isabel O'Hare totaled 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
The Broncos fall to 0-11, 0-2 in conference play, and will take on Farmington away on Monday, Jan. 6.
