Farmington, ME - The SUNY Delhi women's basketball team was back in action Monday, falling to Farmington.
Farmington would jump out to an early lead, finishing the first quarter ahead by double digits. The Beavers would remain in control throughout the second quarter, leading comfortably at the break. Delhi would look much improved in the second half, only being outscored by 2 points in the third quarter and 6 in the fourth. Ultimately, Farmington would pull away with the victory, improving to 2-2 in conference play.
Delhi's top performers included first-year Alexandra Reuss, leading the Broncos in scoring, posting a career high 18 points. Junior Shakera Fullenwilder totaled 9 points, and sophomore Samantha Miller added 7 points and 9 rebounds.
The Broncos fall to 0-12, 0-3 in conference play, and will take on Thomas away tomorrow afternoon.
