Lyndon, VT - The SUNY Delhi women's basketball team was back in action for another conference matchup, coming up short to Lyndon.
Delhi, looking to build off of yesterday's strong first half performance against Johnson, followed it up with another competitive first half against Lyndon. The Broncos would trail only by one point after the first quarter and just five points heading into the break.
Similarly to their previous contest, Delhi would fall short in the second half. Lyndon would start the second half off fast and never look back. The Hornets would hold the Broncos to only 14 second-half points, pulling away with the victory.
Delhi's top performers included Samantha Miller, leading the way for the Broncos with 19 points, and Jewel Torres, who totaled 10 rebounds and 4 steals. The Broncos fall to 0-18, 0-9 in conference play, and will take on Penn St. Berks away on Thursday.
