Johnson, VT - The SUNY Delhi women's basketball team returned to conference action, coming up short to Johnson.
Delhi would start strong, posting their best first quarter and half of basketball all season long. It would be a back-and-forth contest for the entirety of the half that saw the Badgers with a narrow two-point lead at the break. It would be a flip of the script in the second half; Johnson would start the second half off fast and never look back. The Badgers would double their amount of points from the first half and eventually pull away with the victory.
Delhi's top performers included junior Shakera Fullenwilder, leading the way for the Broncos with 16 points, and sophomore Jewel Torres, who totaled 9 points with 15 rebounds. The Broncos fall to 0-17, 0-8 in conference play, and will take on Lyndon tomorrow.
