Jeffes Places 15th in Nation, Harris Advances in 100m

GENEVA, OH (May 27, 2022) - The Broncos Track and Field team were back in action today at the NCAA Division III Championships being held at the Spire Institute.

Joshua Jeffes wrapped up his incredible season placing 15th in the 400 meter dash at the outdoor championships.  Jeffes, who became SUNY Delhi's first ever NCAA All-American this winter when he placed eighth in the 400 meters at the indoor track and field championships, set the Delhi school record in the 400 meters earlier this season at 47.71 seconds, ran 47.97 seconds today.  Jeffes finishes his year with school records in the 300 and 400 meters indoors as well as the 400 meter outdoors.

Naquille Harris had another great day in the prelimiary of the 100 meters.  He ran 10.36 seconds to run away from his heat for the win and an automatic qualification to tomorrow's final.  His time performance will now make him the top qualifier for tomorrow's final.

The schedule for Harris on the final day will be the 100 meter final at 1:40pm and the 200 meter final at 2:50pm.
