Virginia Beach, VA - The Delhi Broncos Track and Field program will once again be on the national stage this weekend as senior Joshua Jeffes and freshman Dayzin Lagare compete in the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships held in Virginia Beach.

Jeffes, who was Delhi's first NCAA All-American in the 400 meters in the 2022 indoor season, will be back at it in the same event this year.  This time he enters the meet with the fastest time in the nation this year and a great deal of confidence.  He has improved his times in the 60 meters, 200 meters, 300 meters and 400 meters this winter.  His 400 meter performance at the Boston University Valentine Invitational won him the individual crown in the meet and ranks as the third fastest time ever run in NCAA Divison III.

Legare is in his first year in a Delhi singlet and is already delivering.  He will be competing in the 200 meter dash this weekend where he will enter the meet as the 16th seed.  Lagare ran his best performance this past weekend at the AARTFC Championships so he is entering the meet in top form.  He will look to compete for All-American honors in his first season with the Broncos.

Jeffes will compete first, running the 400 meter prelim at 3:25pm on Friday.  Lagare will run later that day in the 200 meter prelim at 4:30pm.  Should the athletes advance to the final, the 400 meter final will go off at 4:40pm and the 200 meters at 5:30pm on Saturday.
