WATERVILLE, Me. (September 2, 2019) – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has awarded freshman Marie Julian (Voorheesville, NY / Clayton A. Bouton) as the Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week. She provided great play in her first two collegiate contests Sunday in the Broncos' 3-0 victories over King's (N.Y.) and Yeshiva. Head coach Beau Bracchy's team is 2-0 to start the year.

Julian played all three sets in the opening match with the host Lions, earning two service aces and two digs. She played a bigger role in the latter match against the Maccabees, putting in a game-high 11 kills, while providing three service aces, four digs and two assists.

Julian and the Broncos look to continue their strong start in their home-opener Wednesday versus Utica at 7:00 p.m. in their lone match of the week.
