NEWBURGH, N.Y. (September 25, 2019) – The SUNY Delhi women's volleyball team could not overcome a two-set deficit visiting Mount Saint Mary Tuesday night after dropping the first two games by close scores. Despite a Broncos victory in the third set to extend the match, the Knights pulled away with a 25-11 win in set four to hand Delhi a 3-1 defeat. Head coach Beau Bracchy's team is now 6-4 on the year.

Trailing, 21-15, in the opening game, the Broncos drew to within one of the Knights, but came up short in a 25-23 game. Both teams were tied at 18-18 in set two, only for MSMC to carry seven of the next nine points for the 25-20 win. Delhi captured the third set, 25-22, but the Knights responded furiously in the fourth set with the 25-11 win.

Witchney Clersainville led the Broncos with 15 kills, as well as one solo block, while Taylor Tsatsis finished with seven kills, 13 digs, and a team-high three service aces. Shelby Nolan led the team with 14 digs, as Erica Prindle had a team-best 27 assists. Lexi Taylor finished with 13 digs. Haylee Lefebvre added five kills with two service aces. The Knights led, 49-34, in kills, including a .212 kill percentage to the Broncos' .085.

Coupled with Sunday's defeats to Farmingdale State and MCLA, the Broncos look to turn their fortunes around Thursday, welcoming Mitchell to Floyd L. Maines Arena at 6:00 p.m.
